DINNER TIME

Dinner Time is a duet created as a choreographic challenge, built in only two rehearsals and shaped by urgency, instinct, and flow. The work explores the animalistic nature of human interaction, where attraction, tension, fear, and dominance surface beneath the surface of control and social conditioning. Just before its premiere, the music unexpectedly changed, adding a new layer of unpredictability that deepened the piece’s raw, instinct-driven quality. The duet questions why we are drawn to each other in these ways, and what is revealed when control begins to slip. It was performed at Arts On Site in New York City.
